Pump Strainer

Pump strainer for use with the Shurflo water pump.

1/2″ threaded with swivel hex wing nut.

DA Components recommend you fit a pump strainer to prevent small pieces of debris getting into the pump diaphragm. Debris in the pump diaphragm can cause the pump to surge and lead to problems with the flow of water. DA Components strongly recommend a pump strainer is used when using a DI vessel to filter the water.

The pump strainer is fitted on the inlet of the pump and there is an arrow on the strainer to indicate the direction of flow.
